Investment thesis
Korpun Siemen invests in early (seed) stage companies with no sector or geographic restrictions, always co-investing alongside existing investors, seed funds and angels. Its first investment in a target company is 50,000-100,000 EUR, with follow-on investments up to a total of 200,000 EUR; typical rounds are 200,000-500,000 EUR. Target companies should already have revenue or a contract base, a first product version ready, and an experienced team. The firm was formed by 33 angels to solve three problems: closing the final part of a round, giving angels better diversification, and financing follow-on rounds. It works closely with Mint Palvelut (formerly SijoittajaPRO Corporate Finance) on analysis and follow-ons.
