J-STAR is a Japan-born private equity firm focused on small and medium-sized enterprises. Guided by a philosophy of making all stakeholders 'shine', it aims to help companies resolve management issues through investment. The firm selects the most suitable investment methods for each situation and works closely with the management teams of its portfolio companies as a partner, jointly building and implementing business strategies to maximize business value. Active since 2006, the firm has made more than ten investments annually over recent years, accumulating over 100 investments to date.
