Investment thesis
Interop invests in exceptional founders building the interconnected blockchain systems it believes will underpin the future of global finance. The firm holds that scalability, security, and interoperability are the cornerstones of DeFi's potential, and centers its approach on three principles: sovereignty as the basis for financial and data independence and decentralization; modularity, where shifting from monolithic to modular systems allows independent optimization of execution, data availability, and consensus; and composability, where open, stackable protocols let anyone launch new financial primitives and markets without gatekeepers. It aims to identify and underwrite the infrastructure supporting the interchain economy.
