The Innovation Booster Grant provides non-dilutive government funding to Western Australian startups and innovative SMEs that lack the capital to access the support services and expertise needed to refine, test, protect, validate, and certify their innovations. Grants help businesses develop or enhance commercially ready products, test or certify a minimum viable product, procure specialist consultancy for intellectual property, marketing, or commercialisation support, and resolve specific technical problems. The program aims to increase the number of commercially ready innovations in WA and to position the state as a location of choice for product testing and development, supporting Western Australia's Innovation Strategy and the Diversify WA framework.
