Investment thesis
The program supports Mexican companies with innovative or scalable technology projects aligned with Plan Mexico's strategic sectors. Through the Fondo de Fondos, it provides seed and venture capital co-investment, contributing up to 50% of a round (up to MXN 6M at seed and up to MXN 20M at venture stage), with private institutional funds providing the remainder. Investment periods run 5-7 years with exit horizons of 10-12 years. Eligible firms must be legally constituted Mexican entities able to receive private equity capital or issue convertible instruments (SAFEs, convertible notes). This is not a grant program.
