Aerospace engineer with a diploma from the University of Stuttgart (2014) who has been involved in developing and launching hybrid sounding rockets since 2012, with experience across recovery systems, hybrid propulsion, and airframes. Manages testing, launch, and production operations.

Aerospace engineer with a PhD from the University of Stuttgart (2015) who has worked on hybrid rocket propulsion research and advanced fuels since 2010. Managed the HyEnD hybrid sounding rocket project and brings extensive experience in project management and propulsion systems development.

Olivier Gaumont is COO and co-founder of HyImpulse Technologies GmbH, which he helped establish in 2018 and which employed around 65 staff by mid-2022. In this role he has led the company's Testing and Production departments, overseeing static fire engine testing, test bench setup and operation in Germany and abroad, and development of atmospheric entry and descent systems. Prior to this, he worked as a research scientist in the Propellants Department of the DLR Institute of Space Propulsion from 2016 and contributed to the HyEnD STERN project at the University of Stuttgart from 2012.
