Investment thesis
The firm pursues long-term value creation through active ownership. It makes direct investments taking significant minority or majority stakes (typically 30%-45%) in internationally focused Danish companies with enterprise values between DKK 150-500m. It also runs an investment association (Great Dane), holds real estate assets (farmland, forestry, rental property), and since 2017 has built a venture portfolio of early-stage Danish growth companies with international ambitions in sectors such as ICT, AI, FinTech and Robotics & Automation. It is also a lead investor in Hands-On Mikrofonden focused on GreenTech, FoodTech and AI/Digital.
