Investment thesis
GAIN aims to build an investment community focused on backing early-stage Gambian companies with potential to become future industry leaders. It invests in, mentors, and provides business network access to early-stage companies committed to building sustainable, long-term businesses. Beyond capital, GAIN organizes quarterly pitch sessions connecting shortlisted businesses with angel investors seeking growth capital, runs angel-investing masterclasses to upskill members and the wider ecosystem, and participates in local and international investment events. It also partners with other ecosystem players on initiatives promoting entrepreneurship and investment, particularly for young entrepreneurs, in support of private-sector-led development in the country.
