KREA is a joint initiative of Fundación Gloria Kriete and Key Institute aimed at fostering El Salvador's next generation of technology-based startups. It provides tools, connections, mentorship, and access to investment to turn ideas into high-impact companies. FGK operates an internationally recognized incubator and partners with Key Institute's innovation center, while Key Institute brings corporate alliances and invites investors and venture funds. Eligible projects must be technology-based and fall within strategic areas including smart manufacturing, smart logistics and last-mile, fintech and financial inclusion, food security, water access, circular economy, renewable energy, new materials, smart tourism, design, media, and arts.
