Investment thesis
KREA is a joint initiative by Fundación Gloria Kriete and Key Institute aimed at fostering the next generation of technology-based startups in El Salvador. It combines training, innovation, mentorship, and access to capital to turn ideas into high-impact companies. FGK operates an internationally recognized incubator and partners with Key Institute's innovation center to multiply impact, drawing on a network of business, academic, and investor allies. Eligible ventures must be technology-based and fall within strategic areas including smart manufacturing, smart logistics and last-mile, fintech and financial inclusion, food security, water access, circular economy, renewable energy, new materials, smart tourism, design, new products, and media and arts.
