Investment thesis
Fountech operates as both a venture studio and an AI engineering practice. Rather than investing cash, it 'invests engineering' — building MVPs for founders who bring the market, team, and go-to-market capability, in exchange for equity, a board seat, and a long-term advisory interest. It also builds its own ventures and delivers production-grade AI (custom fine-tuned models, agentic systems, and production hardening) for clients on the same stack it uses internally. An internal research lab feeds decades of AI expertise into both the firm's ventures and its client work, with results shipping inside products rather than being published as papers or patents.
