Galen Richards is Head of Information Technology at Foresite Labs, with prior roles at startups and technology companies including Airbnb and Evernote. His areas of expertise include API integration, open source software, systems scaling, SAML/SSO/LDAP and OIDC design, and GCP and AWS environment administration. Outside of work, he builds large-scale installation art and has constructed two flame-throwing buses.

Ian Tong, MD, is Chief Clinical Officer at Foresite Labs, where he advises health tech and care delivery companies across all stages. His background includes two decades in health care innovation, including work with the Department of Veterans Affairs and as core faculty at Stanford Medical School, and he helped build and scale the digital health platform Doctor On Demand from seed stage through a post-merger organization of 1,200 clinical professionals. He holds a BA in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a medical degree from the University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine, and completed his chief residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford Medical School.
