FINOLAB

Joined Mitsubishi Estate in 1992, working in construction, housing product/sales planning at the Osaka and Yokohama branches, and later general HR at Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei. After rejoining Mitsubishi Estate in 2018 he worked in the airport business division; at FINOLAB he oversees back-office operations.

After early web development work at a startup, he joined Dentsu Soken doing R&D and fintech research and ran FIBC (predecessor of FINOPITCH) before moving to the US. In San Francisco he served as a local VP handling startup investments and open innovation, and founded Dentsu Innovation Studio as COO. He returned to Japan and joined FINOLAB in 2025. Holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.

An economics graduate of the University of Tokyo, he joined the Bank of Tokyo and studied at Oxford (MSc in development economics). From 1998 he focused on financial IT research, moving to MUFG's innovation unit JDD in 2018. He has been involved in Japan's fintech community since its early days and co-founded FINOVATORS.

Joined Dentsu Kokusai Joho Service (now Dentsu Soken) in 1992, developing market and risk management systems for financial institutions. He helped launch FINOLAB in 2016 and led investments in fintech startups, becoming a director when FINOLAB was incorporated in 2019 and head of the FINOLAB Fund in 2024.

Joined Mitsubishi Estate in 1994, working in finance and accounting before a secondment to Rockefeller Group in the US. From 2006 he helped launch and run investment management operations including fund management oversight and M&A, later handling real estate development land acquisition. He was seconded to UK firm Europa Capital in 2020 and led development projects at Mitsubishi Estate's Indonesia subsidiary from 2023, taking his current role in 2026.

Joined ISID (now Dentsu Soken) in 1992, developing financial market and risk-management systems. He helped launch FINOLAB in 2016 and led fintech startup investment, becoming a director when FINOLAB was incorporated in 2019 and fund lead from 2024.

Worked in real estate at Hanshin Electric Railway before joining Mitsubishi Estate in 2008. She managed retail leasing and, from 2014, business development and operations at innovation facilities including FINOLAB. She later led HR and, from 2024, headed the innovation facilities operations division.
