Investment thesis
DTA focuses on identifying, investing in, and nurturing Malaysian (and a limited number of foreign) businesses operating in the technology sector, with the goal of contributing to national economic growth. At least 30% of its fund is directed toward start-up investments, while the remainder is allocated to emerging companies that already show some initial track record in commercialization. Acting as an active investor on behalf of the Fund Company, DTA stays closely engaged with the broad strategic direction of its investee companies without being involved in their day-to-day operations.
