Since 2006 DMB has invested in profitable German SME companies with good market positions and positive cash flow. It targets enterprise values of EUR 2-20 million and typically acquires majority stakes above 50%. Although broadly sector-agnostic, its 2026 investment focus is on IT and software companies and the digitalization of traditional businesses. DMB provides expertise and an extensive manager network to support succession solutions as well as management buyouts (MBO) and management buy-ins (MBI).
