Investment thesis
COSIMO Digital builds and operates licensed rails that move real-world assets from issuance through custody, settlement, identity, and treasury, integrating the layers under regulated control rather than assembling them from separate vendors. The firm holds a BaFin-regulated WpIG for tokenized securities passported across the EEA under MiFID II, and is pursuing MiCA custody and payments authorization with the Central Bank of Ireland. It views MiCA as a market reset favoring licensed operators and argues value accrues to regulated operating companies with enforceable cash-flow claims. Its asset management arm, COSIMO X, launched in 2019 as a tokenized evergreen venture fund, provides operating visibility across every layer.
