Investment thesis
The CSW Accelerator supports technology startups applying AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to community safety and wellness challenges. Wellness focus areas include housing and homelessness, domestic violence, mental health, food security, nutrition, substance use, and social justice, while safety focus areas cover theft reduction, road safety, food safety, and workplace/home/community safety, especially for underserved communities. Selected founders receive Alchemist Accelerator's proven curriculum on customer development, IP protection, and fundraising, along with mentorship, targeted introductions to Alberta community and government partners, and access to Alchemist's global network of investors and mentors. The fee-free, hybrid program includes virtual sessions plus one week in person in Edmonton, concluding with a Demo Day.
