Investment thesis
The Caribbean Development Bank works to reduce poverty and inequality across its borrowing member countries by promoting inclusive, sustainable and resilient development. Its mandate is to help member states optimise the use of their resources, develop their economies, and expand production and trade. The bank mobilises financial resources from within and outside the region, promotes private and public investment, and supports regional and local financial institutions as well as regional credit and savings markets. It also provides technical assistance to borrowing members and works to develop and stimulate capital markets throughout the region, with an emphasis on good governance.
