Investment thesis
BitRoot focuses on the early, unfunded stretch between a first shipped product and a real seed raise. It runs a merit-gated program (BuildCamp, Pitch, Investment Committee, Accelerator, Portfolio) starting with a six-day in-person BuildCamp in Cairo, followed by a three-month accelerator with in-kind resources and vertical experts. The firm seeks founders who are already building (live product, real users, or working prototype), AI-native by default, solving problems specific to the Egyptian market with room to scale beyond it, and committed to a multi-year horizon. Checks begin at $100K pre-seed with follow-on up to $150K, backed by a network of 60+ practitioner mentors.
