Investment thesis
BankCap concentrates on the financial services and fintech sectors, based on the view that healthy financial services underpin thriving communities. On the private side it has invested hundreds of millions in U.S. commercial banks and financial services companies since 2005, partnering with strong management teams running differentiated businesses in its core areas. It also acts as a long-term, fundamental public-equity investor in fintech, payments, banks, crypto, and investment managers, favoring high-quality companies riding secular growth trends and led by top-tier teams. In addition, the firm advises public and private companies on strategy, serves on corporate boards globally, and works with family offices and foundations on investment and operational matters.
