AMPYME is a Panamanian government agency supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises. Its Seed Capital Fund provides non-refundable competitive grants of up to B/. 2,000 to new entrepreneurs and micro-business owners across urban, rural, and indigenous regions. Eligible applicants must be adult Panamanian citizens seeking to start or strengthen a business project. Funds can be used to purchase fixed assets, raw materials, and supplies as approved in a business plan by an Evaluation Committee. Recipients must comply with training and ongoing oversight from AMPYME.
