Investment thesis
AMPYME operates a competitive, non-refundable seed capital fund providing awards of up to B/. 2,000.00 (approximately USD 2,000) to Panamanian citizens of legal age who wish to start or strengthen a micro-enterprise project anywhere in the country. Funds may be used to purchase fixed assets, raw materials, and inputs as set out in a previously approved business plan. Recipients must complete required training and comply with oversight from AMPYME. The program targets entrepreneurs across urban, rural, and indigenous regions.
