Investment thesis
AirFinance specializes in financing newly manufactured aviation assets — business jets, civil helicopters, general aviation aircraft and full-flight simulators — purchased directly from manufacturers or their authorized sales agents. Its funding leverages Export Credit Agencies, government departments that guarantee lending to exporters' buyers, which lowers transaction risk and unlocks competitive interest rates in markets banks typically ignore. The firm works closely with manufacturers and agencies worldwide, operating in 37 countries and backed by nine governments. Its sister brand AF Capital applies the same export credit approach to non-aircraft products across industries, offering working capital, supply chain and infrastructure financing in more than 150 countries.
