Uri Lopatin co-founded Assembly Pharma and served as Chief Medical Officer before its merger with Assembly Biosciences in 2014, where he held the role of CMO and VP of R&D and oversaw clinical development of hepatitis B antivirals. He previously worked as a physician-researcher at Schering Plough, Roche, and Gilead Sciences, and completed medical training at UMDNJ, NYU, and the NIH.
