Richard Yu holds a PhD in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale and a BA in Biophysics and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. He co-founded GPB, an algae biofuel company, served as Scientific and Operations Director at MBC Biolabs biotech incubator in San Francisco, was a Principal at Mission Bay Capital life science venture fund, and previously conducted research at The Molecular Sciences Institute on cellular information processing.
