PJ Steiner holds degrees in computer science from MIT and a PhD in synthetic biology from Cambridge, with postdoctoral research at UCSD. He previously worked as a scientist at Bolt Threads on yeast protein engineering and conducted protein engineering research at the University of Colorado Boulder on a DARPA-funded project. He co-founded Ohmic Biosciences to develop disease-resistant plants.
