Li-Yao Huang holds a DPhil in Biochemistry from Oxford and conducted postdoctoral research at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, where he led CRISPR screening projects focused on cancer drug targets. He now leads FinalDose, a YC-backed company working on BRCA1-deficient cancers and PARP inhibitor resistance mechanisms.
