Company profile

researched Sep 2026

Zoog operates a visual communication platform for families, built around recorded storytelling. Using the mobile app, a user selects an item from a content library — storybooks, nursery rhymes and lullabies, early-education clips, fun facts, jokes or greetings — and records themselves reading or singing it. The app overlays augmented-reality masks, filters, sound effects and animations synchronized to the script or lyrics, and produces a shareable video without manual editing. On-screen text and bouncing lyrics guide the narration, a progress bar tracks position in the story, and users can pause, resume, re-record, screenshot moments to the camera roll, edit titles or delete recordings.

Finished recordings are sent as a link by text message and can be played by the recipient on any device without installing the app or holding a subscription. Past creations and those received from others are collected in a "My Stories" section, and Zoog+ subscribers keep their recordings in a Memory Album. A notifications feed surfaces newly released content, reactions from family members and requests from children for specific recordings. Users can add children to a contact list with a name, avatar or photo, relationship and age to personalize sharing [0][1][2][3][7].

The company is based in Even Yehuda, Israel, and was a participant in the Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs Accelerator, powered by Techstars, in 2021 [7].
