VivaReal

Grupo ZAP operated a platform covering the full process of buying, renting and selling residential property in Brazil, and included the Viva Real portal brand and the DataZAP data-intelligence unit. Viva Real was founded by Brian Requarth, who later served as chairman of Grupo ZAP.

In 2020 Grupo ZAP was fully acquired by OLX Brazil, the joint venture between Adevinta ASA and Prosus NV, for approximately $504.9 million. Following completion, the combined business operated under the OLX, ZAP and Viva Real brands, serving consumers, private advertisers and real estate professionals. At the time of completion the three brands together carried 14 million real estate listings, an average of 70 million visits per month and more than 40,000 professional users. Andries Oudshoorn, CEO of OLX Brazil, continued to lead the combined operation, overseeing OLX and ZAP activities from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and regional branches.
