João Barros João Barros is a professor of electrical and computer engineering who has held research positions at MIT, Carnegie Mellon University, Stanford University, and the Technical University of Munich. He founded Veniam, which develops networking software for connected vehicles, and previously served as an associate director at Carnegie Mellon University Africa.

Robin Chase CEORobin Chase co-founded Zipcar, a carsharing platform, and subsequently founded Buzzcar and GoLoco, both peer-to-peer mobility services. She holds degrees from Wellesley College and MIT Sloan School of Management, and serves as CEO of Veniam, which develops networking software for connected vehicles.

Susana Sargento Susana Sargento is a full professor at the University of Aveiro and senior researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicações, where she leads the Network Architectures and Protocols group. She co-founded Veniam in 2012 and has published over 500 works on self-organized networks, intelligent transportation systems, and 5G technologies.
