Technology

The platform uses deep learning and big data methods for computer-vision analysis of CT and other abdominal medical imaging. It detects and characterizes lesions, predicts which are likely to become malignant, and performs automatic single-lesion tracking over time, a capability the company says is covered by its patent (WO 2023/030734, pancreas). The company reports models trained on over 300,000 images, reported sensitivity of 96.6% and specificity of 84.5% in lesion detection, and a hardware-agnostic architecture. History

Founded in August 2020 and incubated at Barcelona Activa, the company shifted from COVID-19 imaging to abdominal lesion detection. It completed its first clinical trial in 2023 and obtained CE marking under the EU Medical Devices Regulation for its pancreatic lesion software in mid-2024 (announced September 2024), enabling EU commercialization and the execution of first sales agreements. At the time of the CE mark announcement the company reported having raised more than €2.5 million, roughly two-thirds from competitive public funds, awards and grants and the remainder from a 2022 funding round, and stated it was closing a second round. In 2025 it announced a €3 million round to support the European launch of its device, extension of the certified product to hepatic and renal lesions, and US validation toward FDA approval. In July 2026 the company announced CE marking for its AI algorithm for liver cancer detection.
