Ringil

Ringil is a cloud-based logistics platform, operated by Ringil s.r.o. of Prague, that manages the transport and yard processes of manufacturing and sales companies. It is organised into integrated modules covering inbound and outbound flows: a shipment advice/notification module ("Avizace") for supplier delivery notifications, a transport management system (TMS) for planning, tendering and recording shipments, timeslot management for loading and unloading windows, and yard management for gate and ramp operations. Within the TMS, a single action can send a request for quotation to many carriers at once, with their responses and offers visible directly in the system, and shipment records retained for later use in place of spreadsheets.

The platform provides real-time shipment tracking, 24/7 process status visibility shared with partners, automated monitoring of deadlines, capacities and messages with notifications, in-system messaging and chat, and shared access to documents and attachments across the supply chain. Carriers self-select and reserve available timeslots, which gives warehouse and ramp staff preparation time; in the yard module, driver codes support security, external display boards direct drivers to ramps, and gate staff verify vehicle licence plates before allowing handling. Ringil connects to customers' ERP systems and offers KPI reporting through standard dashboards or custom views, and grants access to employees as well as to carrier and supplier partners on one platform.

The service runs on Google cloud infrastructure and requires no installation, being accessible from the office or on the road. Ringil states it is available in multiple languages, with the website offered in Czech, English and Hungarian.

Business model

Ringil is sold as a subscription software-as-a-service: customers rent access to the cloud-hosted platform rather than installing software, and can select only the modules they need thanks to the platform's modular design. Shipping companies and their partners on the buying side of transport are the paying users, while carriers can use Ringil free of charge, including submitting bids, refining shipment details and using the driver mobile application. Key data fields and code lists can be customised to a customer's requirements, and implementation and reporting views can be tailored.

Traction

Ringil reports use by manufacturers, distributors and their partners in 20 European countries, and cites customer-reported outcomes of up to 15% savings on transport costs, up to 83% time savings in managing shipments, and 87% of customers saying the system significantly helps their daily work, with logistics process handling requiring 20% of the previously needed capacity.
