Red 6 Aerospace Inc. (also referred to as Red Six Aerospace and Red 6) is a defense technology company developing the Airborne Tactical Augmented Reality System (ATARS), described as a live-flight augmented reality platform for military pilot training. Pilots fly actual aircraft while wearing a helmet visor system through which they see and interact with virtual aircraft and synthetic threats, combining augmented reality with artificial intelligence to train pilots and ground operators.

ATARS integrates live, virtual and constructive (LVC) training elements, including synthetic threats and real-time targeting cues, to deliver beyond-visual-range engagement scenarios intended to increase training density per sortie. The company positions the system against constraints in modern air combat training such as limited flight hours, high operating costs and limited airspace, as well as growing pilot workload from data volume and the introduction of unmanned systems. Red 6 also frames ATARS as a foundation for fully immersive, data-driven, AI-enabled 3D synthetic training worlds in which humans and machines train together, and for developing human-machine teaming capabilities.

ATARS has been evaluated by the U.S. Department of War and integrated into multiple aircraft platforms. The company states it supports active programs across multiple U.S. military commands and holds strategic partnerships with defense prime contractors in the U.S. and abroad.
