How did your company get started? (i.e., How did the founders meet? How did you come up with the idea? How did you decide to be a founder?)

Founders Kerim and Andres met studying computer science in college and first worked together on an AI project that reviewed over 15,000 minutes of camera footage while tracking a jaguar, later building AI systems at their university research lab. qomplement began after a large oil and gas company approached them about more than 30 employees whose job was moving data between systems; the founders spent a month on-site doing the work manually before building the product.

What is the core problem you are solving? Why is this a big problem? What made you decide to work on it?

The founders are targeting the roughly $30 trillion physical economy of retail, logistics, and supply chains, which they say still runs on legacy ERPs, spreadsheets, and large operations teams that scale by adding headcount to process each PO, invoice, and shipment. qomplement is an AI-native ERP meant to replace NetSuite and SAP, with agents handling procurement, inventory, freight, and finance end to end; the company lands with one module and expands to full migration in about 2 months rather than 12.

What is your long-term vision? If you truly succeed, what will be different about the world?

The founders aim to replace incumbent enterprise ERPs like Oracle and NetSuite with an agentic system built for AI agents rather than humans, so that operations once handled by entire departments can be run by a single person.
