History

Psych Hub was founded in 2019 by therapist Marjorie Morrison and former U.S. Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy. Early work focused on consumer-facing mental health education and partnerships: a COVID-19 resource hub developed with advocacy groups, insurers and the Department of Veterans Affairs in April 2020, a workplace mental health initiative with the SHRM Foundation and One Mind at Work in July 2020, a VA partnership in October 2020, suicide-prevention programs with CVS Health/Aetna and Magellan in 2021, a SHRM Workplace Mental Health Ally Certificate in September 2021, collaborative care training with Magellan Healthcare and NeuroFlow in April 2022, and a YouTube health partnership in October 2022. In August 2022 the company raised $16 million to expand into therapist matching.
