Technology

The core technology is AI-based real-time analysis of endoscopic images, trained on large volumes of South Korean endoscopic data, to identify pre-cancerous risks such as intestinal metaplasia and malignant lesions during gastroscopy, combined with patient management functionality. The Prevenotics-G Pro platform is described as a multi-modal AI surveillance system covering pre-cancerous through malignant conditions. The technology is covered by granted and pending patents in Korea, the United States and via PCT, and is undergoing clinical validation at medical institutions in collaboration with gastric cancer prevention specialists. Research output includes an article published in Scientific Reports in February 2025.

History

Following its establishment in July 2021, Prevenotics raised seed investment from Kakao Ventures in January 2022 and was selected the same month as an AI Yangjae Hub resident company; in April 2022 it was selected for TIPS Fast-track by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and established a corporate-affiliated research institute, and in December 2022 joined the Microsoft Launcher Program. In 2023 it was named a supplier company by the AI Department of the Ministry of Science and ICT, became an LG Electronics Open Innovation Biznovator 2023 partner, joined the IBK Changgong Silicon Valley Acceleration Program run with 500 Global, obtained KGMP certification and ISO 13485:2016 certification, and was selected for TIPS-Overseas Marketing. In January and March 2024 Venotics-G Lite and Preveno-G Lite each received Class 2 medical device certification in Korea as endoscopic image analysis software, and the company became a licensed medical device manufacturer in Korea; a bridge investment from 500 Global followed in April 2024, alongside selection for NIPA's Clinic AI program, NVIDIA's N&UP Enterprise Collaboration Program, SEOUL AI HUB's Mila partnership, an SBA Singapore expansion program with KILSA Global, the SEOUL BIO HUB 2024 Global (US) Growth Acceleration Program with Chaperone Ventures, the FIX2024 Innovation Award, and CES2025 Innovation Awards honoree status plus selection as a final exhibitor for CES2025 Eureka Park. In 2025 the company published an article in Scientific Reports, obtained MFDS Class II digital medical device manufacturing certification for Venotics Lite, was selected for the MSS Micro DIPS deeptech incubator program, and was named a supplier for NIPA's 2025 AI Voucher Support Program.
