Orbiseed provides a software platform that automates preconstruction quoting and submittal workflows for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) products. The system ingests emails and project documents — drawings, specifications, O&M manuals, cut sheets, fixture schedules and images — extracts product tags, model numbers, descriptions, attributes and project metadata such as job name, address, engineer and due date, and converts them into structured line items. The company states extraction accuracy of 99.6%, average processing of 20–25 seconds per document, and more than 100,000 documents processed.

The platform is organized as a single continuous workflow spanning email/document intake, AI extraction, catalog matching, cross-referencing, quote generation, submittal production and CRM handoff, with user corrections fed back into the extraction step. Functional modules include document intelligence, quantity takeoff (counting fixtures and equipment from sheets and rolling quantities up by tag, product and CSI division), catalog management (ingesting product data by CSV, Excel or API and managing categories, attributes, pricing and status), cross-reference intelligence (auto-accepting 1:1 SKU matches, flagging multiple matches for human review, and providing a propose-and-approve workflow with an audit trail), configurable product recommendation that assembles full part numbers including prefixes and suffixes, a pricing engine applying base markups, per-manufacturer rules, quantity breaks and per-customer discounts with line-level overrides and traceable provenance, and quote templates.

Orbiseed positions the curated data layer — the customer's product catalog, cross-reference mappings and accumulated team corrections — as the foundation that enables the downstream automation of cross-referencing, product recommendation and SKU configuration.
