NeuroNav

Founding story

Co-founder and CEO Kimberly Schreiber previously worked in sub-Saharan Africa for Zola Electric on solar power access. Her younger brother Stephen, who has an autism diagnosis, aged out of the school-based developmental disability system at 22 and was placed on a waitlist without a clear path to coordinated services or funding — an experience that prompted her to build a social enterprise for adults with developmental disabilities. She enrolled at Stanford Graduate School of Business (MBA '20), where she was an Arbuckle Fellow and took the Lean Launchpad course; there a student team interviewed more than 100 potential users and stakeholders over ten weeks in the developmental disability services market.
