Nanordica Medical develops the Nanordica Advanced Antibacterial Wound Dressing, a sterile single-use dressing made of natural silk nanofibers with antibacterial nanoparticles (Premotiv technology) that prevents infection and promotes healing of chronic and infected wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers. The Estonian medtech company, a spin-off of the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics, serves wound-care and clinical settings.
