MAR+Invest is a blended finance initiative that invests in and provides capacity building to market-based businesses whose activities positively affect coral reef health and reef-dependent communities in the Mesoamerican Reef region (Mexico's Quintana Roo, Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras). It combines public, philanthropic, and private capital to fund early-stage and established companies addressing threats such as wastewater and solid waste, overfishing, and climate change.
