i-SENS, Inc. (아이센스) is a Korea-based biosensor company whose product range spans self-monitoring blood glucose systems, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), point-of-care diagnostics and animal diagnostics. Its CareSens self-monitoring blood glucose system is stated to meet the accuracy, hematocrit and interference requirements of ISO 15197:2013. CareSens Air is described as the first domestically developed continuous glucose monitor in Korea to obtain CE certification, providing real-time glucose readings and trend data. It also states annual capacity of 2.1 billion blood glucose test strips and distribution in around 110 countries.

Latest developments

In July 2026 i-SENS applied for new European CE certification for its next-generation CGM, CareSens Air 2, and filed CE change applications for the existing CareSens Air to extend its approved use to children and adolescents and to add a predictive alert function. Later in July 2026 it reported record quarterly revenue for Q2 2026 with sharply improved profitability. In August 2026 it announced its fourteenth consecutive year of official sponsorship of the Seoul International Women's Film Festival, providing CareSens Air devices as part of a diabetes-awareness and glucose-management campaign framed within its ESG activities.
