Founding story

GROWiT was established in 2020 by Saurabh Agarwal, Founder and CEO, who studied at Cardiff University in the UK, holds an MBA from SP Jain and completed the Stanford Seed Program with 20+ years of experience, and Akshay Agarwal, Founder and Director, a plastics engineer from the University of Massachusetts with 10+ years of experience.

In May 2025 GROWiT announced a $3 million funding round led by GVFL, with participation from Veloce Opportunities Fund, JITO, We Founder Circle, Sunicon Ventures Fund, Progrowth Ventures and Hyderabad Angels. CEO Saurabh Agarwal linked the plan to building climate resilience in agriculture through technology and enabling cost-effective farming with higher yields.
