Forgent AI (Forgent AI GmbH) is a Berlin-headquartered enterprise software company that sells an "AI operating system" for bid and proposal management. Founding story

Forgent AI was founded by Erik Heinelt, Dr Leonard Wossnig and Dr Timo Kuschma, a team of engineers, researchers and operators. Heinelt is a serial entrepreneur with two prior exits, including a local services marketplace sold to CHECK24, and is a co-founder of the German Startup Association; he serves as co-founder and CEO. Wossnig, co-founder and CTO, is a Google PhD fellow and honorary Research Fellow at UCL with more than ten years in AI research who founded and sold the AI startup Rahko and was previously CTO at LabGenius. Kuschma is a Stanford-trained physician-scientist who led AI teams at QuantumBlack and held leadership roles at Tecton (acquired by Databricks) and Humanloop (exit to Anthropic).
