FlyUP Bio develops black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) farming technology to convert food-industry and agricultural by-products and biowaste into animal-feed proteins, lipids, and organic fertilizer (frass). A spinoff of the Ruđer Bošković Institute, it currently sells live and dried BSF larvae, primarily as pet food, in Croatia.
