FIVE MICS

Five Mics is a physical trading card game themed around hip-hop culture and built on original story and intellectual property. Players assemble decks of fictional hip-hop artist characters that have "Superpowers" and battle opponents, knocking out opposing artists to establish their roster as the strongest. The game uses hip-hop-inflected terminology and card names such as "Caught Slippin'," "Headliner" and "Royalty Check Came," alongside mechanics referred to as traps, reups and "afterdeath."

The product line is organized around the first set, The Genesis, which contains more than 180 cards distributed across booster packs by rarity. Retail products include a 24-pack Genesis booster box, five pre-constructed 30-card Genesis starter decks aligned to play styles (Chill, Party, Hardcore, Emo, Conscious) each shipping with bag, reup, ongoing and danger-zone tokens, a paper playmat and rules, plus a five-deck collection set and accessories such as sleeves, binders, deck boxes, playmats, dice and shirts. Games are designed for two players aged 14 and up, run roughly 15 minutes, and are capped at 12 rounds, with most matches ending around round five.

The company operates a set of web properties under the fivemics.io domain: a main site covering cards, world/lore, events, a "Block Runners" program, a "Producer Network" and news; a Shopify-based storefront; an email signup page; and a community hub branded Five Mics Central, which offers a 25% discount on a subsequent order for account creation.
