Evibe Technologies Private Limited, operating the site evibe.in, is an Indian consumer-services company running an online marketplace for party and event planning services. The platform lets customers discover and book party packages — typically combining elements such as a party hall, decor and a photo shoot — in a small number of steps, positioning itself against the fragmented offline vendor market. Founding story

Evibe was founded by B. Anjaneyulu Reddy (listed on the company's Gust profile as Anji Beeravalli, Founder and CEO) and Swathi Bavanaka. Sources place the founding in February 2014, while the company's own investor profile lists 2013. Reddy is described as a BITS alumnus who previously built CricSMS, an SMS service with more than 10,000 subscribers during the 2011 Cricket World Cup, and who leads product and hiring. Bavanaka holds a master's degree from the United States, is a Google Women Techmaker and a Cherie Blair Foundation mentee, and handles customer and vendor engagement.

Business model

Evibe operates an online marketplace that aggregates party and event service vendors into pre-configured, bookable packages. Customers discover and book packages — which may bundle a party hall, decoration, photography and similar services individually or in combination — through the platform, with the company handling vendor engagement and guiding vendors in creating on-demand packages.
