Eperi

eperi is a German IT security vendor whose core product line, eperi sEcure, applies client-side encryption, tokenization and masking to sensitive data before it reaches cloud, SaaS and web applications. The stated design goal is functionality-preserving protection: the usual features and usability of the protected applications remain available while encryption keys and the encryption process stay exclusively with the customer, shielding data both from cyberattacks and from access by the cloud provider itself.

The portfolio is organized by use case. eperi sEcure SaaS is a fully managed service for protecting data in cloud and SaaS applications. AnyApp covers web applications generally; dedicated variants address Microsoft 365 and Salesforce; an SDK allows customers and partners to extend protection to additional cloud platforms; a Test Data Generation capability produces privacy-compliant test data from real data models via client-side tokenization and masking; and QuantumEdge targets post-quantum readiness with quantum-safe encryption. A further use case covers using Microsoft Copilot without exposing sensitive content. Out-of-the-box supported applications include Microsoft 365 Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, To-Do, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, plus HubSpot, ServiceNow and Trello.
