CoPower was a sustainable investment company that provided financing to clean energy and energy efficiency projects, using a green bond model to connect individual retail investors with projects seeking funding. In 2019 it was acquired by VCIB as a wholly owned subsidiary, and in 2021 its green bond fundraising model was wound down and its clean energy lending transitioned to VCIB.
