In September 2008 it signed a development agreement with Disney's mobile game division (Disney Interactive), which published and distributed the resulting titles in the United States, beginning with Disney Puzzle Family and followed by Disney Game Parade the next year. Also in 2008, Com2uS registered a trademark for the term "Tower Defense," prompting some developers to rename games. On October 4, 2013, rival Gamevil acquired a 21.37% majority stake in Com2uS for a little over $65 million; Gamevil renamed itself Com2uS Holdings on November 30, 2021. Com2uS launched Summoners War in 2014. In January 2020 it partnered with Skybound Entertainment on a mobile game based on The Walking Dead.
