Buycycle

Buycycle, operated by TFJ Buycycle GmbH, is a Munich-headquartered online marketplace for pre-owned bicycles, originally focused on used road bikes and later covering gravel bikes and mountain bikes. The platform connects private and commercial sellers with buyers and layers services normally associated with a bike dealer onto a marketplace model: standardized listings drawn from a database of road bike models covering the previous 20 years, structured search, managed buyer-seller communication, secured payment, shipping logistics and a returns process in which incorrect or damaged bikes can be sent back to Buycycle, which then handles the unwind with the seller.

The company was founded in 2021 by three Munich-based cycling friends, Florian Senoner, Jonas Jäger and Theodor (Theo) Golditchuk, who all serve as managing directors (Geschäftsführer). Senoner covers sustainability, finance and operations; Jäger is CTO with responsibility for product and user experience; Golditchuk leads marketing and sales. By mid-2025 the marketplace was described as present in more than 30 countries, including the United States, where it operates a buycycle USA storefront.
