History

Founded in April 2005 together with its R&D center, BI MATRIX was designated a venture business in 2007, certified as an INNO-BIZ technology-innovative SME in 2008, and received the Presidential Award at the Korea SW Awards in 2012, the year it also obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. G-MATRIX 1.0 launched in 2014; the company was designated an Advanced Technology Center by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in 2015 and won the ASOCIO Award in 2016. It opened a Japanese branch in 2017 and won the Prime Minister's Award for i-STREAM that year, followed by the IR52 Jang Young Sil Award for i-STREAM in 2018. The AUD Platform launched in February 2021 and won a Prime Minister's Award at the Korea Software Awards in 2022. G-MATRIX 2.0 with generative AI arrived in July 2023, and the company listed on KOSDAQ in November 2023. In 2024 it released the proprietary LLM G-MATRIX MX-7B, launched G-MATRIX in Japan, obtained AI+ certification and signed AI-sector MOUs with NAVER Cloud and Clavi. In 2025 it launched G-MATRIX 3.0 and TRINITY, established the Japanese subsidiary MATRIX SOLUTIONS, and registered multiple patents.
