Axcces is a cloud-based SaaS platform built for affordable multi-family housing that links property owners and managers, housing seekers and tenants, and government housing agencies on a single system. The platform applies AI-driven eligibility screening and process automation to lease-up, recertification, re-rental, relocation and day-to-day property management workflows, with the stated aim of shortening lease-up timelines that the company says routinely run 12–24 months in the industry.

The product suite consists of five components. Axcces Manager is the operational core for owners and managers, with modules for lease-up, recertification, re-rentals, compliance, letters and forms, a workflow engine, business rules, notifications and integrations, all sharing a unified data model. Axcces Hub is the resident-facing portal covering the applicant and tenant experience, including a single common application that maps to multiple program requirements, waitlist position tracking and document submission. Axcces PMS is a compliance-first property management system covering property, tenant and lease management, accounting and finance, budgeting, common area and work order management, and financial reporting. Axcces Insights provides benchmarking, AI-based property health scoring and alerting, and portfolio-level executive reporting. Axcces Oversight creates a structured, real-time data channel between operators and the agencies and housing authorities that regulate affordable housing programs.

Alongside software, Axcces offers end-to-end services across the housing lifecycle: lease-up (applicant outreach and marketing, common application intake, AI eligibility screening and waitlist ranking, agency coordination, move-in scheduling and audit trails), recertification (automated notices, guided document collection, AI-assisted income and asset verification, certification generation), re-rentals, relocations, and full-service property management.

Founding story

Axcces was founded by Emily Levin (Co-Founder and CEO) and Satya Maganti (Co-Founder and CTO). Levin has more than a decade of frontline experience in affordable housing and homelessness prevention as a former social worker and licensed therapist, covering lease-up, eligibility, compliance and resident workflows, and previously built and scaled a mental health practice. She is a Robin Hood Foundation Blue Ridge Labs Catalyst (2025) and an Urban Design Forum Big Swings Fellow. Maganti has over 20 years of experience in large-scale civic and housing technology, serving as technical architect of NYC Housing Connect 2.0 and Section 8 landlord systems, with integration experience across HPD, HRA and other public-sector housing infrastructure, and describes himself as an immigrant founder who navigated housing access challenges firsthand.
